Christian Betancourt

Christian is the Managing Partner of the Ixian firm Próspera ZEDE, Honduras. With over 12 years of experience in Corporate, Commercial, Banking/ Financial Law & Economics, as well as Dispute Resolution, he has been part of the development of the jurisdiction and its special regulations in biotech and finance.

Kyle MacLean Smith

Kyle is building out the futuretech product side of Ixian. An avid polymath (including enterprise music rights management, mathematics, and law), he believes in law as a public good, open-source, invisible and life-enhancing. The Legal Engineering Curator at Hats Protocol, he also runs Legal Engineering tracks at most of the Zuzalu-inspired pop-ups, including in 2025 Zuitzerland.

Ramona Tudorancea

Ramona comes from a legal background of international corporate and finance, investment funds and M&A, and brings legal strategy and multi-jurisdictional structuring to a new level, with a focus on the evolution of organizations and RWAs tokenization. She is also a Graduate (GradCG) of the Chartered Governance Institute UK and Ireland.

Carlos Pineda

Carlos is a highly experienced professional (Law/MBA) specialized in business strategy, international negotiations and he has been an integral part of developing a network of public and private sector relationships across countries, including in Próspera ZEDE in Honduras.

Daniel Rivera

Daniel has over eight years of experience in corporate law and transactional matters, servicing industries such as Finances, Real Estate, and Energy, having practiced at leading international law firms as well as serving as in-house counsel. He has advised on complex cross-border corporate structures, early-stage and growth financings, governance frameworks, and compliance strategies. He also leads Ixian Canadian presence in British Columbia.

Alejandra Lopez

A Honduran lawyer with an orientation in business law and experience in public procurement, direct contracting, contracts, guarantees, and intellectual property, Alejandra advises on matters within Próspera ZEDE, Honduras, as well as on immigration and compliance issues.

Augusto has a background in accounting, tax and compliance from companies such as Deloitte and SAP and is well versed in AML/CFT & Risk Compliance, supporting Ixian as well as our clients.
